Yeah RT Blogs!

Wow. I didn't see this coming. My humble, tiny, little blog, that I write mostly to remind myself of my progress as to not become discouraged, has been noticed by the writer of one of my favorite RT blogs and given the distinction of being listed amongst the "Top 21 Respiratory Therapy Blogs of 2008"!

It is included amongst a list of some really cool blogs, blogs that I check up on pretty much everyday to stay motivated and that were instrumental in inspiring me to start writing my own!

Super cool.

I'm ready for round 2...

I'm all registered for next semester. I'm going to be taking "Human Anatomy & Physiology II", "Microbiology of Health & Disease", and "Medical Law & Ethics". I went and bought my books, and was able to get them all used and in great condition with unopened complimentary software. Well, except for the Anatomy lab manual, but that was only like $3.00.

Well, I'm going to try to keep myself busy over the next few weeks that I'm out of class. It shouldn't be very hard with the holidays and all the shop work that I need to finish. As a matter of fact, I'm heading out to the gym now, then to the shop to work on restringing a grand piano that I've been working on for what seems like an eternity. Nonetheless, when school starts I'm ready to get back into the academic ring and start swinging!

I have won this battle...

I took my final "final" exam this morning. It was in Medical Terminology. I had an hour to finish it, and I needed 66% to get an A in the class and thus ensuring my 4.0 GPA for the semester. It took me 13 minutes (I was the first one done). I know for sure that I aced it. So that's it then. 4.0 for the semester!

2 down 1 to go...

I just finished taking my final exam in "Human Anatomy & Physiology I" resulting in an A. Grand total for the class's final grade is (drum-roll please) 103%! Woot!

Combined with the A achieved earlier from the dumb computer class I took, I am pullin' a 4 point for the semester. Woot!

One final left in Medical Terminology and I'm done until January 15th 09! (Except for prepping for the COMPASS math exam, but whatever...)

Also I found out that the teacher that I've enjoyed taking A&P I from was hired by the college full-time and will likely be teaching A&P II next semester, that means I might try to switch around my registered classes to get in his class.
